… This was to be “the” trip for us. We have three sons, ages 14, 11 and 9. Our own ages varied from 9 to 47. We could not go for our oldest’s Bar Mitzvah, so this was our big trip in-between. We felt it might be the last time we would all be together easily! We had two concerns. One was that our youngest was so young and the other was that we were planning very last minute…We were very lucky. By a twist of events, we got to Sharona. We explained that we wanted a trip that would combine history, the religious and cultural feeling of the land and enjoyment for the children. We also wanted a guide to accompany us the entire trip. This would have to be someone who could balance the needs of the children with the needs of the adults. To top it all off we wanted to see, well, everything! We were met in Israel by our guide, Udi. He turned out to be a PERFECT choice for us. Udi had a great sense of when to spotlight adult or child events, sites and activities. He adjusted the itinerary day to day according to our needs and we still saw 90% of what we had on our list. We realized we had been a bit over-zealous in our planning. Udi knew when and how to move us along or slow us down. He knew when we needed to rest, as well as wonderful places to do so. His knowledge of history, culture and places was never ending!

…This was our first trip to Israel. We LOVED it! We put a lot of work into planning this (with your help), and while there are a few things we would do differently if we had the chance, overall we are Very Pleased with the whole experience. The fact that we had perfect weather almost every day helped, but Israel itself is wonderful! We were especially struck by the tremendous variety in such a small country - variety in terrain, climate, cultures, etc. You know this very well, of course, but even though we’d read a lot in advance, we were still surprised…Our guide Gil was SUPERB! We have traveled extensively all over the United States and to 30 or 40 foreign countries. We have had LOTS of tour guides. Gil Daleski is by far the best tour guide we have ever had. The combination of his intelligence and charm, his love of his work, his sense of humor, patience, flexibility - and the fact that our political views are so similar - all contributed to his being a perfect match for us.If you ever want a past customer to give a detailed recommendation, we will be delighted to do so!

I have been a world and business traveler for the last 50 years covering the globe for my company. I have been to Israel twice the first time back in 1961.This trip was special to me as I went with my very best friend. He is catholic and 43 years old I am Jewish and 73 years old.The trip was planned as an adventure, Spiritual and bonding experience for both of us. We went for 15 days. After many many recommendations from friends and well connected people who claim they have the best of everything!!! I found Sharona at Genesis Boutique travel in Jerusalem She was recommended to me by the top concierge at the top hotel in Jerusalem. I contacted Sharona two weeks before our departure. Naturally, I was concerned and anxious that everything be perfect for such a diversified and complex schedule.Sharona did an incredible job. She developed an itinerary and was patient with me for 12 days every day constantly revising the schedule at my requests and her suggestion. She did all the bookings and matched us up with the best guide in the world Doobie Sabo. !!! She was incredibly patient, understanding anticipatory to our needs and made me feel completely at ease worry and stress free. Our guide Doobie Sabo is unbelievable and will stay with us as a friend for life!!! Doobie is knowledgeable in history, archaeology, politics religion of this complex region that no one can fully understand. He is also the funniest person in the Middle East. He took us North, South, East, West to see the history of the past and the complexity of the current. Being with him was beyond delightful and the feeling and confidence of safety was awesome. The vehicles’ Sharona and Doobie provided where excellent and fully air conditioned and new she also got us great rates all over Israel. We enjoyed a beautiful luxury suite at cost at the Mammilla Hotel one of the best and not to be missed. Also, Sharona arranged and planned our trip to Petra in Jordan not to be missed by any traveler that has not been. Truly one of the wonders of the world.Sharona and Doobie made this trip a trip of a lifetime for us .Gregg and I will never, ever forget it, and are returning at every opportunity. We HIGHLY recommend Genesis Boutique and Doobie Sabo for any travel plans you have to Israel or the Middle East. They are the VERY VERY best ever!!!!"

We cannot thank you enough for all the incredible scheduling you did for us in regard to our recent trip! The high level of professionalism and itineraries that were extremely well planned and executed perfectly were outstanding! We are so impressed and looking forward to a trip back to Israel soon and again and again! We will very highly recommend your company to our friends and colleagues when they are considering a trip to Israel, Jordan etc. You really made the trip a perfect adventure and a lifelong best memory!
Myra Erez, too, is SUCH a treasure! She goes way beyond any expectation level of our Israel tour guide
. Her enthusiasm, devotion and beautiful story telling delivery is magnificent and so appreciated by all of us!. She really turned the trip into something out of this world! (How she drove us from Allenby bridge when we incurred issues up to the northern border to cross Jordan spontaneously was another Myra Olympic feat!) By the way, all my pre-itinerary requests turned out to be ridiculous because Myra wove much more into the points of interest than a checklist of mine could ever be worth. We all enjoyed every minute whether we were seeing all the exciting sights or just shmoozing about life in Israel. We had a magnificent experience that has enlightened us greatly.
Your Jordan tour guide, Maen Kasassbeh, who met us at the Eilat border was another exceptional individual that we were so impressed with. His knowledge of the area and open-minded character were so appreciated by all of us. He provided a delightful day. The lovely Israel checkpoint person leading us to the Jordan border was so helpful to us also before meeting Maen that you arranged. You did not leave a stone unturned, Sharona!
Hillel, your Tel Aviv guide, was such a bundle of interest, energy, education, and expertise! We had a great day investigating Tel Aviv - eating the best falafel in the world and really getting familiar with the city. He is terrific, as you know!
I could go on and on! You and your professionalism and handpicked perfect guides was an extraordinary experience! It’s been a true pleasure and we feel so fortunate for such a perfect experience in Israel and Jordan! Toda Raba beyond words!

Sharona did a fantastic job with the schedule. I had originally sent her a list of places I wanted to see. She was a master of creating a fabulous daily planner around those things - and so much more! We rode camels (got to do for the 9 year old, safe and easy enough for the 76 as well) swam in the Galilee, hiked the trails of Abraham, saw past and present Israel - and ALL of us stayed enthralled.
Our guide was amazingly knowledgeable, augmenting stops with photos and music, kept the kids all involved, and knew where every ice cream stand and fantastic food place was. Sharona arranged transportation everywhere (to and from airport, etc.) which made the trip as easy as a cruise. Sharona will be available to you the entire time you are there, and so will your guide.
We planned this trip for 3 years and I did not think my expectations would measure up to the real experience. I was wrong. I cannot find one negative thing to say - and I am not very easy to please. Actually, there is one thing. I did the hotels on my own to save money. I should have let Sharona do the hotels. Mine were not the best location and we ended up paying more at one hotel as I booked the wrong “plan”. Let her do it all.

We truly loved our trip to Israel! It was much more than we could have expected. We were not prepared for the astounding beauty we saw–from mountains to lake to sea to city and kibbutz and everything in between. We feel we saw an incredible amount of historical sights that were so meaningful and well presented. We saw most of the touristy highlights–a must in most cases (such as the Chagall windows and the Israeli Museum) and Gershon was right to gently push them without being too aggressive. Gershon certainly knows kis history with a deep perspective and taught us a lot about archeology, religion, and customs of the entire region. We found Jerusalem to be a stunning and complex city–we could have used more days there for sure. Tiberius and the Scots Hotel were well suited for our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. Next time we’d love to be at En Geddi and see Rosh Hanikra in the north! We found ourselves feeling a huge connection to your land and look forward to a return trip.
…oh and although we had second and third thoughts about going to Jordan, we are so glad we didn’t miss it. You were right–Petra is worth two or more days and was truly breathtaking!

What can I say? We had an incredible trip! What a wonderful place. It was FANTASTIC and we’ve been to a lot of places both with family and without…
… Gershon was incredible! We loved him - his knowledge and love of the country was phenomenal. (We met his Dad Max who is such a lovely man and what insight he gave us. I so enjoyed talking politics, religion, history and everything else with him, especially when everyone else was sleeping in the van.) I will certainly recommend you and Gersh in the future as we tell everyone what we did on our summer vacation…I wish this could be a yearly trip!

Thank you so much for such an excellent tour! We really enjoyed every minute of it!
Shraga was an excellent guide and gave us so much more local knowledge than any other tour we went on during our trip to Greece Turkey Israel Egypt and Italy. He really was first class and by far the very best guide we came across in our travels while away. I have just returned home and very jetlagged but have posted for others on cruise critic doing this circuit your firms high praises I have asked the other 4 people on the tour what their thoughts were and we all agreed Shraga was the number one guide and we enjoyed Israel far more than any other country we visited.
I would like to write to him again and thank him personally so would appreciate an address where I could send him a card. We all got so much extra from our trip to Israel with sightseeing and commentary and really enjoyed every minute in your wonderful country Masada was well worth the extra time and was very pleased we saw so much of Jerusalem in the short time available also Nazareth and the countryside which you have turned into a green belt we could do with your expertise here in Australia which
is the driest country on earth in the interior with salt laden sand the same as Israel but we cannot manage to grow anything on it…
Once again thank you so very much for the best tour of my life thanks to Shraga and Genesis Travel!

I may be the organizer of the family, but I’m definitely not the eloquent writer of the family. But I wanted to send you this e-mail to thank you for everything you did for us. I appreciate that you were able to change the itinerary around on a moment’s notice to keep everyone happy. I also appreciate your knowledge of current and historical events. We needed a guide who knew as much or more than my mother and we definitely had that in you. Of course, now I need a vacation from my vacation. I’ve been checking the Jerusalem Post and I’m amazed at the recent activities. Now, I have two more people to worry about (you and Eitan2). Thank you again for everything.
PS. One of the pictures that you took of Lenny shooting was amazing. At least I think you took it. You can actually see the bullet leaving the gun. I’ll Facebook friend you so that you can see the picture. I posted some pictures yesterday.
